1. Download the firmware update here: Reloop Mixon 8 Pro Firmware

2. Unzip the firmware update and open the updater application "Mixon 8 Pro Updater for Mac".
3. Press Cancel on the shown "Security & Safety" message:
4. Go to your settings to "Safety & Security" and press "Open Anyway"
5. Follow the instructions of the updater:
6. The progress of the update will be displayed in the Jogwheels.

Press twice the Sampler mode button in order to get into the Neural Mix Pad mode:



This is how the 8 Performance Pads control your Neural Mix mode:


By pressing Shift + FX 1-3 you can select which Neural Mix elements should be manipulated by your effects. Choose between the deck’s full audio output (nothing selected), and the drum/harmonic/vocals Neural Mix elements.



At the bottom of the panel, the Neural Mix FX routing menu switches what audio the effects will alter:



By these symbols you can see which Neural Mix element is altered through the effect:


Hold SHIFT and press the TAP button on either FX Unit 1 or 2. This will switch between default EQ and Neural Mix EQ.

How to switch between default EQ and Neural Mix EQ

You can replace an existing Performance Mode such as Loop Roll, Sampler, Saved Loop, or Slicer with Stem Control. Learn more about Stems in Serato DJ Pro here:

In single cases, one or more pads can get stuck or slightly shifted during transportation and do not respond as expected. If this occurs, please press and trigger all pads firmly and repeatedly, and gently rub the pad section to ensure all pads sit correctly in their place and the contact sensors are reset. This simple procedure solves any response issue.
