DJ Sammy B

"Dj Sammy B is UK based in South-east London / Kent. He got started in Djing in the early 1990’s when he bought his first set of turntables. Having older brothers who were into music when he was a youngster, he found that he was influenced by their musical tastes as there were lots of 7”, 12”, LPs and cassettes to listen to. He found that by making mixtapes and compilations for friends and family he received a lot of positive feedback. This led him to Djing at friend’s and family house parties and other social events. He found that when Djing ‘live’ for people the feedback was immediate and to see people enjoying themselves gave him great satisfaction.

His aims as a Dj are to become more successful by having regular bookings to Dj at Weddings, Corporate events, Bars / Nightclubs, Shop / Restaurant openings etc. and to ensure whilst doing so people are left entertained by what he has done. Dj Sammy B’s influences are other Djs such as David Rodigan, Norman J, Dj EZ, Ray Keith and Majestic. Over a career spanning 20 plus years he has Dj’d at several friends and families parties. Between 1995 and 2000 he was the resident Dj at BRUNEL UNIVERSITY STUDENT UNION at Isleworth and Uxbridge playing weekly. He has also Dj’d on internet Radio station https://urbannoize.com/ Highlights of his career so far include supporting Dj EZ at VOLTZ / THE WORKS and OPTIONS / OCEANIA in Kingston, Surrey and VICTOR SIMONELLI at Bar CANTINA in Croydon, Surrey."
