Jim Sharp

Toronto native, London based Jim Sharp is one of the premier remixers within the DJ game. Over the past decade, he has earned a reputation amongst deejays around the world as a sure shot go-to for his Funk, Soul and Hip Hop edits and remixes in their vinyl and digital crates, receiving support from the likes of DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Nu-Mark and Kenny Dope to name a few. Jim’s sizeable discography of 7 inch remix releases have regularly been at the top of the Juno, HHV (Germany) and Disk Union (Japan) best seller vinyl charts.

As a DJ, Jim’s rocked stages alongside the likes of Skratch Bastid, Talib Kweli, DJ Premier and Rich Medina. He’s able to find the sweet spot between turntablist skills, selection and rocking a crowd. He is equally dexterous playing either vinyl 45s or digital formats with sets full of his own remixes, edits and production.
