Mit dem Terminal Mix 2 ergänzt Reloop seine Serato Controller Linie um eine dezidierte 2-Deck Variante.

Zugriff auf alle wichtigen Funktionen

Im Terminal Mix 2 ist ein 2-Kanal Mixer* integriert, der neben 3-fach EQ mit intelligenter Killtechnik* und Gain auch Filtermodulation pro Kanal ermöglicht. Die Crossfader Kurve kann bequem auf der Vorderseite eingestellt werden.

Die Master Sektion ist neben dem beliebten Trax Encoder mit vier praktischen Management Tasten ausgestattet, die einen mouse-losen Zugriff auf Playlists, Crates oder weiteren Ansichten ermöglichen. Der gewünschte Track kann blitzschnell mit den Load Buttons in das Deck geladen werden - eine Fader Start Funktion* kann ebenfalls aktiviert werden.

15,5 cm große Jog Wheels mit Vinyl Grip

Ein weiteres Highlight sind die neu entwickelten, ultraflachen Jog Platters aus Aluminium mit einem XXL-Durchmesser von 15,5 cm, die mit einer griffigen Vinyl Grip Beschichtung veredelt wurden. Mit insgesamt 3 Modes (Pitch Bend/Vinyl/Quick Search) kann entweder gepitcht, gescratcht oder der Track im Quick Search Mode durchsucht werden.

Trigger Action Deluxe

Die komplette Transportsektion ist mit vollgummierten Tasten bestückt, die einen bequemen Druckpunkt haben und zudem extrem widerstandsfähig sind.

Die Perfomance Sektion* wartet mit insgesamt 8 Tasten auf 2 Layern auf und kann vielseitig eingesetzt werden. Im ersten Layer können 4 Hot Cues abgefeuert und 4 Sample Decks getriggert werden. Im zweiten Layer kann je nach eingesetzter Software beispielsweise auf Hot Cues/Samples 5-8 zugegriffen werden - mit zukünftigen Software Updates kann diese Sektion noch mit weiteren Performance Modes (Cut'n'Slice) für 'Live Remixing' erweitert werden.

Für noch mehr Kreativität und Spielraum sorgt die umfangreiche Effektsektion, die mit 3 Rotaries, 1 Endlos Encoder und 4 Buttons ausgestattet ist. Auch die Smart Loop Sektion, in der schnell beat-genaue Loops gesetzt, in der Taktlänge verändert oder bewegt werden können, ist mit vier Kontrollelementen luxuriös bestückt.

Erstmals verbaut Reloop auch einen 14-Bit Pitchfader mit 100 mm, der von vielen DJs gewünscht wurde und ultrapräzise reagiert.

Power House Interface

Power House Interface: In der Audio Sektion gibt es umfangreiche Anschlussmöglichkeiten für deine Master Club PA (inkl. symmetrischen Klinkenausgängen), Zonenbeschallung und ein DJ-Booth System. Praktisch sind auch die 2 Kopfhöreranschlüsse (6,3 mm & 3,5 mm), die mit einem 1-Band Equalizer reguliert werden können. Ebenfalls wurde ein Mikrofonanschluss mit 1-fach EQ für MCs, Moderatoren oder Sänger integriert, der über eine flexible Routing Schaltung eingestellt werden kann. Zusätzlich kann ein Plattenspieler, CD/MP3-Player oder iPhone/iPod an den Aux-Eingang angeschlossen und zum Master oder in Software geroutet werden!

The Reloop Terminal Mix 4 is one of the best controllers outthere. It's very solid, all the features are there and it has a great layout, the rubber knobs and jogwheel coating are nice, which makes it perfect for controllerists and scratch DJs.

Everything else feels expensive, too, from the long-throw, hi-res pitch controls to the extremely loose crossfader, to the damped, weighted libary knob dead centre of the unit, to the rubberised transport controls at the front. It's a pro-feeling DJ controller, without a doubt.

I was impressed with the sound quality from the unit. [...] sounded warm and summery, just as it should, with good bass, twinkling highs and convincing filter effects from the built-in channel filters. The headphones volume was plenty loud enough and overall I had no complaints.

The Terminal Mix 4 is a high-quality, durable, well-designed controller with enough buttons and knobs to control all of the major aspects of today’s 4-deck digital DJ software. It is truly plug-and-play on your OS of choice (Linux too) and includes a choice of good quality software that will satisfy the needs of all but the most demanding users. Scratch DJs will be happy with the size and performance of the wheels and cross-fader, and MIDI mapping tweakers will appreciate that almost every control has a shifted counterpart.

If you press this button twice in sucession, the opposite deck will be copied and continue playback at the exact same position.</li><li>Crates Button<br />Jumps back to crates view.</li><li>View Button<br />Switches between the views FILES and PREPARE.</li><li>Back Button<br />If file view is activated, you will always get to the previous layer.
